yLauncher is an open-source Android launcher. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the app accesses and how it is handled.
yLauncher does not collect, store, reuse, or share any personal data whatsoever. All your data (favorites, folders, settings, preferences) exists locally on your device only. No data ever leaves your device. There are no servers, no analytics, no tracking, and no data reuse of any kind.
yLauncher requests the following permissions, all used exclusively for launcher functionality:
yLauncher offers an optional one-time donation ("Buy me a coffee") through Google Play Billing. No purchase is required to use any feature of the app. Purchase transactions are handled entirely by Google Play.
yLauncher does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only third-party service used is Google Play Billing for optional donations.
yLauncher does not collect or store any data on external servers. All data (favorites, folders, settings, preferences) is stored locally on your device only and is retained for as long as the app is installed.
To delete all app data, you can use the standard Android mechanism: go to Settings > Apps > yLauncher > Storage > Clear data. Uninstalling the app will also remove all locally stored data.
yLauncher does not knowingly collect any data from children. The app does not collect data from anyone.
yLauncher is open source under the GPL v3 license. You can review the complete source code at github.com/ykatchou/ylauncher.
If this policy is updated, the changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
